when i visited my local yarn store abuelitas i just fell in love with this yarn. it is a wool, silk cashmere mixture which has a deep rich colour and wonderful soft feel. knitted up it has a great drape to it, which worked beautiful for this pattern.
the only change i made was that i used a smaller needle size and knitted the garter stitch part 2" longer. i am very happy with the result.
