my dear mom needs a little extra love. she lost a good friend unexpected. i can not visit her at this moment, she lives in austria, so i thought i knit her a big ,warm & soft shawl. it will hug her for me. the pattern is the kiri shawl from ' all tangled up '. i made that shawl before in kid silk haze and loved it. this time it is a sumptuous yarn [silk & cashmere] from my friend cynthia over at plumknit. the colour is a warm cinnamon. i want to finish this one fast and send it off so it can comfort her.
