alhambra (finished)

pattern: alhambra by anne hanson
yarn: habu cashmere a-168 & habu kid mohair n-52 double stranded
needle: us 3

there was a heatwave in portland. 103˚. never mind that the previous week was in the 60is. i would have loved some cold weather. especially when i went to knit/purl. what a wonderful place. fantastic yarn, accessories (i found a lovely horn brooch) and the friendliest people. thank you sandy & sandy. i had a great time there and got some beautiful yarn i will show you later.
i brought my alhambra scarf along. this was a perfect project for traveling. small, light & not to hot in my hands. the pattern is easy to memorize, another plus when you travel.

It looks gorgeous and it's a great color, too. I really want to try the Habu yarns. Isn't it a must try for any knitter?! :)

Oh, that would be perfect for today - it's cold and grey and miserable down here! :)

Beautiful work. I adore your choice of design, wool and pin.
